1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Verification Book (www.verificationbook.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Services Provided

Verification Book provides document verification services for individuals and institutions, including academic, legal, and professional verification. We act as a third-party facilitator to verify the authenticity of submitted documents.

3. User Responsibilities

Users must ensure that all submitted documents are authentic and legally obtained. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and not to use our services for fraudulent purposes.

Fraudulent Submissions: Users submitting falsified, altered, or misleading documents bear full legal responsibility. We reserve the right to suspend accounts, deny service, and report such cases to relevant authorities.

4. Document Submission & Confidentiality

All submitted documents are stored securely and treated with strict confidentiality. We implement advanced security protocols, including encryption, secure hosting, and access controls, to protect user data.

Data Storage: Data is stored on Canadian servers (AWS and Hostinger - Toronto) with encrypted backups in the EU (Hostinger - Lithuania) for GDPR compliance.

Third-Party Processors: We use secure, GDPR-compliant processors including AWS (Canada), Hostinger, and Stripe (for payments).

Data Retention: Documents are retained for a maximum of 90 days, unless required for legal or fraud prevention purposes, after which they are securely deleted.

Verification Book is not liable for any delay caused by third-party institutions during the verification process.

5. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, graphics, logos, and code, is the property of Verification Book. No material may be copied, modified, or distributed without written permission.

6. Payment and Refund Policy

Fees are displayed before confirmation of services. All payments must be completed in full to initiate verification.

Refunds are only considered in cases of service failure directly caused by Verification Book, and not for rejections or delays from third-party institutions.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Delays caused by third-party institutions
• Incorrect or fraudulent submissions by users
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using our services

Force Majeure: We are not liable for service delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to wars, natural disasters, government actions, service provider outages, or internet disruptions.

8. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services if we detect misuse, fraudulent activity, or any violations of these Terms.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Toronto, Canada, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Ontario. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.

10. Modifications to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Updates will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law
